Finalists have 20 minutes to perform a program of their choice, and 10 minutes to discuss their project. Criteria for the award are a high level of artistic inspiration and a passion for social outreach.

The Award offers:

  • Membership in the family of Pro Musicis artists
  • New York City debut in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall
  • $4,000 Father Eugène Merlet Community Service Award
  • State of the art recording with Yamaha Artist Services New York
  • Additional performance opportunities
  • Four hours of professional consultation in career development
