October 11 Concert at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall

On October 11, 2022, in their return to Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall, French soprano Laetitia Grimaldi and American-Armenian-Argentinean mezzo-soprano Solange Merdinian will be joined by pianists Israeli-South African Ammiel Bushakevitz and American-Uruguayan Ciro Fodere performing songs by Rachmaninov, Clara Schumann, Mélanie Bonis, Ethyl Smyth, Ginastera, Villa Lobos, Burchardo, Obradors, Guastavino, and Pablo Ziegier.

Solange Merdinian’s Armenian songs include Varte by Melikyan, Makhmoor Aghchig and Im Anoosh Davigh by Avedisian, and Khachadurian’s Genatz Yerk.

Their far reaching musical journey will also feature La Tarantula by Gimenez as well as three beautiful duets: Offenbach’s Belle Nuit, Leo Delibes’ Duo des Fleurs from Lakmé, and Lucia Caruso’s Tatiana’s Lullaby.
