On May 21, 2018, Pro Musicis hosted a gala award dinner at the Consulate of France in New York. Anne-Claire Legendre gave the welcome address and spoke about the vision of founder Father Eugene Merlet and the decisive influence of Pro Musicis artists to awaken the human spirit in concert halls and community service venues on both sides of the Atlantic since 1965. J.Y. Song, board member, presented the Pro Musicis International Award to the Solera Quartet, whose members are Molly Carr, Miki-Sophia Cloud, Andrew Janss, and Tricia Park. John Haag, executive director, presented the Father Eugène Merlet Award to Stephanie Jutt for her creative outreach through the Bach Dancing and Dynamite Society in Madison, Wisconsin, and to Molly Carr for her dynamic sharing of classical music in prisons through Project: Music Heals Us.

 


 

Bonnie Barrett, board chair, and Franck Laverdin, board member, co-chaired this magical evening for music lovers and patrons who enjoyed an exceptional selection of Champagne Prestige des Sacres provided by Nazareth and Mario Rinaldi and a delicious dinner catered by Feast and Fêtes.
